New Year Resolutions - The Skin Edition

2020 - it's here very soon! This time of the year, people love to look back and reflect the past. It's also the time to look forward and set your intentions for the future. We have listed some things to remember in the new year - welcome to read our New Year resolutions - the skin edition!


Drink more water

Water keeps you hydrated both inside and out. Drinking 2 to 3 litres of water a day makes your skin smoother and feeling plumper.


Get some fresh air

Walking briskly in fresh air betters your blood circulation - you can see the effect immediately on your face. The colour of your skin starts looking healthier.


Eat your greens

Nutrition goes alongside with drinking water. Not even the best skincare serums and masks can make it if the foundations are not right. Eating your five-a-day will show in your complexion, too!



Never forget sunscreen

Sun's lovely, but can do severe damage on your skin. Never leave the house without sunscreen - not even during the winter months!


Remove make-up

Want to look young for longer and keep those impurities away? Remember always to remove your make-up before going to bed. Your skin will thank you later. And, the next morning. too.


Hydrate with toners

Water hydrates your skin from the inside, toners from the outside. This technique of patting the toner on your skin comes from Korean skincare routine. And they are right, hydrating your skin is a game-changer when it comes to keeping your complexion looking dewy all year round.


Sleep well

Did you know that lack of sleep speeds up the signs of ageing showing up on your face? Ask that from any parent and they will confirm that! However, try to get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. We know that this might be a real challenge, but prioritising your sleep can make a real difference!


Smile

Stay positive! Smile is a natural facelift and brings up the mood of the people around you too!
